Bernards Township still recovering from ‘ransomware attack’

Forensics work continues as the township seeks to recover from a “ransomware attack” on its computer network last week.

As of Tuesday morning, May 19, the township’s website was still down following an attack first reported on Monday night, May 11. Officials subsequently confirmed that the network had been hacked by an outside party.
