City of Dubois’ hackers still at large, update on Sandy Township consolidation

Officials say the FBI and State Police have no leads on who hacked the city of DuBois’ servers a few weeks ago. They say their focus is to make sure this doesn’t happen again while also moving in the direction of consolidating with Sandy Township.

Herm Suplizio, DuBois City Manager, says the hackers only encrypted the city’s data, they didn’t steal any info.

He says they got most of their info back and now they must make sure this doesn’t happen again.
